The Illuminated Bathtub

WetForget the candles and turn out the lights! This surreal bathtub invites meditation, relaxation and wonder. Designer Jan Puylaert with Italy’s imaginative WET Studio has an array of delicious colors for both the Light bathtubs and sinks with matching faucets and accessories.

If not in homes, will we be seeing these in hotels and spas in the near future? I am still searching for price!

Nice idea. I doubt that they sell them where I live.

  5. Nell:
It seems Jan Puylaert’s illuminated bath tub could be ordered and shipped to Thailand. Certainly more than a few owners of luxury homes in your Bangkok real estate market would jump at the opportunity to own one of these luxey lighted tubs!

Great idea for an out door tub

  7. Do they work with 240 volts?

  8. Steve: I had not considered the possibility of an illuminated outdoor tub! One might fit nicely above a Bangkok penthouse–or in a spa courtyard. How goes the real estate market in Thailand?

  9. Charles: I am certain these illuminated tubs could be retrofitted to fit most electrical currencies. I like your concept of “serviced apartments” throughout Asia and have bookmarked your site.

In the San Diego, California real estate market, we generally call these properties vacation or corporate rentals. In both cases, the properties are rented fully furnished and equipped. These well-located rental properties may be available for short term stay of a few days to longer commitments that may involve a year or more.
